Located in San
Francisco's East Bay, Dr. Stein has been in the
private practice of neurology in Walnut Creek, California for 30 years.
He has interests in many areas of neurology including multiple
sclerosis, epilepsy, Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and
peripheral neuropathy. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and
treatment of Headache and Migraine. He also treats patients with
cluster headache and tension type headaches. He has been a member of
the American Headache Society since 1978. He has participated in a
number of clinical research studies in the area of headache over the
last seven years and has a number of ongoing headache studies at this
time. He is regarded as one of the leading headache experts in the East
